Key Players

Scott Strazik
Chief Executive Officer, President & Director
Scott Strazik
Ran GE's power business before the spin and has led GE Vernova since it began trading on 2 April 2024. His pitch is that electricity demand is now a long-cycle growth market rather than a mature one, and the company is monetising it through gas turbine slot reservation agreements booked years ahead of delivery: combined gas equipment backlog and slot reservations went from 83 GW at the end of 2025 to 116 GW by the second quarter of 2026, and he now guides to at least 125 GW under contract by year-end 2026 with annual gas turbine output rising from 20 GW in 2026 to 30 GW in 2030.
