Nobody has researched this person's career yet, so founder and track record are left out of the score and of the total above.

Score = stake band (35) + founder (15) + tenure (10) + track record (15) + 12-month direction (−10…15) + filing discipline (10). An axis we have not researched is left out of the score and of the total it is shown over. Every input links to a filing or to our own research; the bands are ours.

Earnings calls

  1. Q2 2026 Jul 21, 2026 Wurster's argument was that Schwab's record quarter is the product of a structural shift rather than a hot tape: investors are consolidating their whole financial lives at one firm, and Schwab already sits at the centre of the investing part of it. He led with 1.4 million new brokerage accounts and $120 billion of core net new assets, then spent most of his time on the two gaps he intends to close — advice, where Schwab holds about 2% of a $37 trillion retail market and only 5% of its own retail households pay for a fee-based solution, and lending, where 0.5% of Schwab clients use a lending product against an industry average near 4%. He was pointedly unromantic about the quarter's headline distractions: the SpaceX listing drew enormous engagement but 'did not meaningfully impact our NNA in any way', tokenisation gets a both-ways bet rather than a conviction bet, and the sports-gambling end of prediction markets, which he put at 90-95% of the volume, is one Schwab will not offer. Democratising Investing: Charles Schwab CEO Rick Wurster on the Future of Finance, Apr 1, 2026

Wurster said rising engagement from younger investors has pulled Schwab's average client age from the 50s into the 40s, though asset-weighted the average client remains much older — the core tension in the firm's growth story.
